XBEE remote measuring instruments for Volt & Ampere with wireless data transmission
Unique, innovative, and multifunctional: the measuring units Digalox® DPM72-MP+ and DPM72-MPN+ with 2.4 GHz XBEE radio interface are characterised by extensive functions and configurability. A variety of measurement modes (volt AC/DC, ampere AC/DC, frequency, power, cos phi) are supported. The XBEE-radio-interface ensures completely wireless individual configuration of the devices as well as transfer of measuring data in real time. The mesh network offers a robust connection that ensures continued operation even in case of individual radio nodes failure. Therefore, the DPM72 measuring instruments are versatile and suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. The multifunctional measuring devices are particularly in demand in the area of remote monitoring of machine and operating data and especially suitable for retrofitting. Using the XBEE-network-measuring-instruments especially in large industrial plants with various machines to be linked, laborious installation of wiring becomes redundant. This is also a bonus for occupational safety, as no cables are left lying around. Additionally, they can be attached to DIN rails as well as to other backgrounds through corresponding boreholes in the housing.
Extensive adaptability via software
Using the "Digalox® Manager" configuration software, the measuring devices can be set up individually. By connecting a norm signal sensor the physical measured value is converted into the desired unit and transmitted as a practical floating point number. Once set up, the DPM72 will transmit your measuring data reliably and in real time - without the laborious installation of wiring.
Switching outputs
As individually adjustable threshold values are reached, two galvanically isolated alarm outputs enable the device to trigger an alarm as well as to perform switch-on or switch-off operations.
Radio data-transmission 2.4 GHz mesh network
Because of the XBEE radio interface the DPM72 measuring instruments are universally applicable. The measured values will be transmitted up to five times per second. The mesh network offers a robust connection that ensures continued operation even in case of individual radio nodes failure. Above all, this enables older or technically obsolete machines to be modernised easily (retrofitting) without having to replace them, which can be expensive and time-consuming.
